Phil. What a guy! He was kind, professional, and extremely knowledgeable. He found the source of the damp concrete in the corner of my garage within minutes of his inspection whereas the other companies could only guess and quoted anywhere from $750 (just to remove vinyl siding and investigate further before quoting the actual repair job!) to $4000 (saying the side of the house must be excavated 6-8’ down to seal any cracks that *MAY* be there causing moisture to come up through the concrete slab!)
Phil informed me that there were no visible cracks or structural concerns, but moisture was getting in from poorly sealed meter boxes and cables running from the exterior into the garage. He showed me exactly where by running the hose on the outside of the house as I watched the water seep into the garage in a specific spot behind the drywall I had cut out. I’m embarrassed by the simplicity of it, but it’s literally a $12 DIY fix. Phil saved me hundreds/thousands of dollars that the other companies were going to charge just to poke around or “fix” a problem that I didn’t even have…

This is a 10-Year Follow-up and review. I’m a Realtor here in the Stafford area (24yrs now). I hired FM for a listing in N Stafford back on 12/30/2015… I cannot stress enough how professional the tech was (Mitch). I called FM and another foundation company to get not only an estimate but to actually assess the real issue.
10 years later the home is standing firm w/no more settlement issues. Running into the homeowners this weekend has caused me to go back and make sure I send a positive review. Many companies can come and do a temporary fix and paint on some water proofing material for the same or more $$$. Few can actually FIX the problem and a decade later still be like new. Thank you Foundation Medix for making us ALL look good.

Dealing with moisture and water in our basement was stressful enough, but navigating the search for an honest waterproofing company was equally as stressful. Mitch with Foundation Medix clearly stood out among the waterproofing companies we contacted as the one with integrity and straightforward business practices.
His bid was not only the lowest, but it was easy to schedule to get him out to our home. I needed work done to the foundation of my 75+ year old house. I was told the foundation was leaking and mold was in the basement. I met with many contractors and Mr. Fadely’s Foundation Medix provided a complete proposal to fix the issues.
Mr. Fadely installed an interior French drain, a sump system with a sump pit to pull moisture away from the base of the foundation, excavated to the exterior footers, and sealed the exterior wall to prevent more leaks.
Mr. Fadely and Foundation Medix has been very responsive with any questions I have had since the installation. I would highly recommend them and use them for other work I may need done in the future.

Foundation Medix did a fabulous job of turning my dingy, dirty, water-susceptible crawlspace into a sturdy, clean, and moisture-tight portion of my house that I can now also use as storage. They were a much, much, MUCH better deal. Foundation Medix gave me an honest, accurate quote wherein they only sold me the products and materials I needed.
